The Bacolod Police has established several motives for the fatal shooting of the manager of a disco bar at the Goldenfield Commercial Complex in Bacolod City Thursday, but Senior Insp. Melecio Endrinal, “alias Thunder”, 38, of Purok Villa, Brgy. Tangub in Bacolod, was shot by two still unidentified suspects and was hit on his face, chest, and hands, while he and three female companions were having breakfast at about 5:20 a.m. Thursday in Purok Gracia, Brgy. Singcang-Airport in Bacolod, Gever said.
He was rushed to the Bacolod Adventist Medical Center but died at about 7 a.m., police records show.
Recovered at the crime scene were four slugs of a still unknown caliber of firearm, a .45 caliber pistol from the bag of Endrinal; P4,000 in cash collection from his disco bar; personal belongings; and Criminal Investigation and Detection Group and Highway Patrol Group identification cards, police said.
Meanwhile, an autopsy on the remains of the “homosexual” photographer, who was found under his bed in Calong-Calong Zone 1, Brgy. Singcang-Airport in Bacolod City, on May 26, showed that he had died of hemorrhage, from stab wounds in his neck and body.
