Our Fathers’ Day

The heavy downpour Sunday did not stop us – Perla, Ninfa and Nena Leonardia, Carla Gomez and myself - from celebrating Fathers’ Day at the L’Fisher Hotel in Bacolod City.

We proceed to the table we had reserved as we knew all tables at the Ripples would be fully taken. Then we proceeded to the buffet tables to check the food.

Perla and I decided to order à la carte, and the rest were busy helping themselves to their favorite dishes. We were all enjoying the talk and savoring the delicious dishes we had ordered, and greeting friends who were also celebrating, when Pros Leonardia arrived, so we happily greeted him a Happy Father’s Day.

I had a good time taking photos of those families and friends who were also there for the occasion.

Bacolod City will celebrate the 75th anniversary of its signing of its Charter

today with lots of activities scheduled, particularly the colorful fireworks display at the Bacolod Government Center.

Everyone is encouraged to take part in the celebration.*
