Degamo leading Re-electionist governor Roel Degamo of Partido Demokratiko Pilipino was leading the race for the top post in Negros Oriental against three other contenders, a partial unofficial tally as of 11:07 last night showed. The results, representing 34.2 percent of the election returns in the province, or 368 of the 1,076 ERs as posted in the Rappler Mirror Server, shows Degamo with 76,340 votes, followed by Josy Limkaichong of Liberal Party, 54,154; Gary Teves of the Nationalist People's Coalition, 52,092; and independent candidate Samuel Torres, 402 votes. For vice governor, Mark Macias of LP garnered 53,606 votes, followed by Henry Sojor of PDP, 50,472; and incumbent Apolinario Arnaiz Jr., NPC, 43,220. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||
