Batang Pinoy 2013
reset to February

In deference to the participants who suffered from the wrath of typhoon `Yolanda’, the Philippine Sports Commission decided to reschedule the Batang Pinoy 2013 national championships from November 19- 23 to first week of February next year.

A press release from the Capitol said PSC commissioner Jose Luis “Jolly” Gomez has informed Gov. Alfredo Marañon Jr. of the postponement of the games.

Gomez said that more than 400 athlete-medalists will not be able to participate in the event including those coming from Leyte and Cebu provinces, constituting 20 percent of the participants.
