Thirteen sacks and nine boxes of clothing, sardines and noodles for super typhoon Yolanda-hit areas in Negros Occidental were delivered by donors to the DAILY STAR office yesterday.
Among the areas the DAILY STAR is sending the assistance it has collected are badly hit island barangays in the province.
The STAR has an ongoing campaign to raise assistance for the victims of the typhoon that has left thousands of Negrenses homeless in northern Negros Occidental.
Among the donations the public may give are food, clothing, financial assistance, cooking utensils, mats, blankets, slippers, and mosquito nets.
Donations in cash and kind can be dropped off at the Visayan DAILY STAR office at Araneta Street in Barangay Singcang, Bacolod.
Financial assistance can also be deposited at BDO Bacolod Plaza Branch in account number 002978001250.
