Garcia case considered closed: BM

Provincial Board Member Alain Gatuslao (Neg. Occ., 5th District),  chairman of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan Committee on Laws, said his committee will no longer deliberate on the case brought to his  attention by two former councilors of Moises Padilla town accusing Mayor Ella Garcia of inaction  on their claims.

“The case is considered closed,” Gatuslao said.

This, he said, is because, one of the complaining former councilors, Jimmidon Plaza, has informed him that Garcia already signed their  claims’ documents.

Plaza and former SB member Ariel Estos sought the intercession of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan,  after Garcia reportedly  did not act on their terminal leave.*
