When bankers bowl

The Bankers Club of Negros Occidental Inc., headed by Cristina Sy, and the Credit Investigators Appraisers Association of Bacolod held a bowling tournament as their social activity for 2013.

The event that has been held in the past two Sundays aims to strengthen fellowship and camaraderie among employees of the member banks, like the BDO, PNB, Bank of Commerce, DBP, LandBank, Metro Bank, Producers Savings Bank, Asia United Bank and Dungganon.

The ceremony was led by CIAAP president Christian Garaygay of China Bank, Arnie Mitra of PNB and Mark Ojera of the First State Rural Bank, with Romulo Lopez of China Bank and Russel Lau of PNB opening the games.

In the wake of super-typhoon “Yolanda”, the event became a time to thank God for sparing Bacolod City.*
