Vice Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson will be acting governor of Negros Occidental for eight days.
Governor Alfredo Marañon Jr. has signed Executive Order No 13-016 designating Lacson acting governor from October 10 to 18.
The governor left for Tokyo, Japan to attend the Organization for Industrial, Spiritual and Cultural Advancement international board of directors meeting.
The governor, who is a member of the board, is also president of OISCA Philippines.
He said he was designating Lacson acting governor to ensure continuous and effective delivery of services in the province.
OISCA is a multi and trans-religious association active in the field of agriculture, forestation, and environmental education.*CPG back
