The Sangguniang Panlalawigan of Negros Occidental unanimously approved yesterday supplemental budget ordinances of the provincial government and its Economic Enterprise Development Department, of P251,454,344.
The P206,286,045 Supplemental Budget No. 1 of the province includes the budget for the construction of the third floor of the Negros Occidental High School in Bacolod City, which was among the issues raised against Gov. Alfredo Maranon Jr. during the 2013 elections.
Board Member Miller Serondo, who had pushed for its approval, said the provincial government will finance the construction of 15 more classrooms at the Negros Occidental High School in Bacolod City, with the bidding expected to start soon. |
