One of the biggest alleged supplier of shabu in southern Negros Occidental was arrested in a buy bust operation conducted by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency in Brgy. 4, Himamaylan City Saturday.
Christopher Tagamolilla, 38, of Roxas Extension, Bgy. 5, Kabankalan City, Ruffa Gavarran, 24, of Bgy. Enclaro, Binalbagan and Brian Granchoy Dingcong, 22, of Bgy.Aguisan, Himamaylan City were arrested at about 10 a.m. at the Mary Pauline Hotel in Himamaylan Saturday by the PDEA raiding team led by IA1 John Carlo Dacquiado and IO1 James Afuanghas.
Seized from Tagamolilla were three pieces of sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu, an improvised tooter, three lighters and P500, the buy bust money.
The raiding team also recovered from Gavarran, Tagamolilla's alleged live-in partner, a sealed transparent plastic sachet containing suspected shabu and one piece improvised tooter. Recovered from Grancho, who allegedly serves as his runner, was a sealed transparent plastic sachet containing suspected shabu and an improvised water pipe tooter.
Daquiado said Tagamolilla was the target of their operation because his name has reached the national headquarters of PDEA as one of the biggest alleged suppliers of shabu in the southern part of Negros Occidental.
He said Tagamollila is facing charges for violation of Sec. 5 and 11, while Gavarran and Grancho, are facing charges for violation of Sec. 11 and 12 of Republic Act 9165 or the Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
The suspects are now detained at the Himamaylan Police Headquarters.*CGS
