Ding and Norma celebrate
golden wedding

Fifty years ago, Ding and Norma Deferia exchanged vows to love, honor and cherish each other, in sickness as in health, in poverty as in wealth, in sorrow as in joy.

On July 29, the couple renewed their vows before Rev. Fr. Florante Marcelo at the Our Lady of Fatima Church in Bacolod City, surrounded by their children John Lou Deferia, Stella Deferia Young, Dexter Deferia, grandchildren, relatives and friends. Their two other sons, Dominic and Tommy, were not able to attend.

A former media practitioner and member of the Negros Press Club, Ding opted to spend his retirement with Norma away from the bustles of the city life in Bacolod and moved to Cadiz City.

The Golden Wedding anniversary celebration allowed the couple to reconnect with their friends and be showered with love and affection from their children, grandchildren and family.*NAB
