It was a grand opening for Asia United Bank's 175 th branch at Burgos Extension in Bacolod City. The blessing was officiated by Fr. Mitchel Guadalupe, and present were Josefa Puentevella, Rosendo Sia, AUB regional head for the Visayas and Mindanao, and Chuck Garcia.

Clients and guests of the bank also came in full force. Congratulations to AUB branch manager Dang Alunan for organizing such a successful affair! AUB now has two branches in Bacolod City.

SKYcable Bacolod recently inaugurated its newly-renovated and more spacious main office at Lacson Street, with Elisa Unson, pioneer subscriber since 1991, as guest of honor.

There was a short ceremony where Elisa received a medallion from the company in appreciation of her loyalty. Seen during the affair were the prime movers and shakers of SKYcable Visayas, like operations head Ruel Hechanova, network operations manager Raul Montinola, marketing officer Sonia Tordesillas, ancillary officer Rechelle Montinola, HR manager Grace Uy, CS officer Johanna Yure, and net ops officer Jonathan Precioso.

The very first branch of Chic-Boy in the Visayas opened in the City of Smiles recently. Fr. Ruel Jundos officiated at the blessing of the restaurant while Mayor Monico Puentevella and Chic-Boy general manager Sarah Reyes cut the ribbon. The franchise is owned by business mogul Juan Gochango and doctor Romeo Reyes. The restaurant is located at the North Place building along North Drive.*
