Thirty-six aspiring call center agents and twelve skilled workers completed their training yesterday at the Negros Occidental Language and Information Technology Center, Bacolod City, a press release from NOLITC said.

Leah Delgado, 27, and a dwarf, was one of the graduates.
 Delgado said she trained at NOLITC because she wanted to work in a BPO company to provide food for her family, the press release said.

Technical Education and Skills Development Authority  OIC-Provincial Director  Teresita Campantero thanked NOLITC for its continued support to the programs of TESDA by providing quality training and for maintaining a very high employment rate.

She also lauded NOLITC for the success story of Mark Escora that was cited by no less than the President of the country, the press release said.

The scholarship was funded by the  Negros Occidental provincial government and TESDA.

There were 18 graduates for the Finishing Course for Call Center Agents NC II, 18 for the Contact Center Service NC II and 12 for the International English Language Testing System training.

The NOLITC continues to provide scholarship slots for deserving applicants in the call center training, medical transcription and 2D Animation courses.  Interested applicants may apply at NOLITC, Paglaum Sports Complex, Bacolod City, the press release added.*
