NegOr bizmen president OK Negros Oriental Chamber of Commerce and Industry president, Ed Du, said he believes that the Philippines has enough resources to pay its debts in the future, despite a Supreme Court ruling against the use of the President’s Disbursement Acceleration Program funds. Du was reacting to local public perception of the national government’s borrowing from foreign lenders after the SC declared some provisions of the DAP as unconstitutional. “It is okay to borrow as long as the money is spent wisely, otherwise, if external debt goes to corruption, then that would be a big problem,” he said. |
