Top 3 teams vie for title
in SCOOP bowling tilt

The top three squads will contest the top prize tonight in the final round of the Sports Communicators of the Philippines – Negros Chapter Non-rated Trio Bowling Spectacle at the Super Lanes of the Goldenfield Commercial Complex in Bacolod City.

As a side event, the top players will contest the master title and individual honors.

After topping the 8-game elimination round the Christian Yu-managed Boysen/Kami Mga Hubin Team with members Odong Paran, Otoy Jardio, Toto Flores, Eshho Garcia and Joval Damascos earned the twice to beat advantage.

At 6 p.m., sister teams ASSFBI Silverado of Cecil Silverio and Edgar Allain Del Rosario’s ASSFBI will contest the right to challenge Boysen/KMH in the championship.

Joining the Silverado team are Cecil Ramon Silverio, Nonoy Gatila, Johann Genolos, and Orly Guiljon while ASSFBI is composed of Ulysses “Road Runner” Pacheco, Hernand Garciniego, Pat Mendoza, and Ricky Zamora.

Meanwhile, the top 10 players will play two games each and the top four will play in an up-the-ladder system to determine the master bowler.

Leading the list is Odong Paran of Boysen, who topped the elimination phase with 111.86 points average per game.

Also in contention for the master’ crown are Joe Ermeo of Bago City Strikers, Ulysses Pacheco (ASSFBI), Butch Oberio (OMJB), Carlo Boyero (LDC Aircon), Nonoy Gatila (ASSFBI/Silverado), Hernand Garciniego (ASSFBI), Otoy Jardio (Boysen), Oscar Clenen (OMJB), and Johann Genolos (Silverado).*
