BY CHRYSEE SAMILLANO
At last!
AVM Bernardo Engineering, that operates the Bacolod Slaughterhouse in Brgy. Handumanan, Bacolod City, was finally issued a business permit by the Bacolod City Government after it filed a petition for mandamus against it.
But the original copy of the permit was deposited yesterday by the city at the Regional Trial Court Branch 54, and not to the petitioner.
The Department of Interior and Local Government is offering a P90,000 reward for the arrest of Rustom Puro, one of the suspects still at large in the murder of Judge Henry Arles, in Ilog, Negros Occidental, April 24, 2012.
Puro, Marvin Salve, Gerald Tabujara, all members of the defunct Revolutionary Proletarian Army-Alex Boncayao Brigade, as well as government employee Emmanuel Medes, who are facing murder charges for the death of Arles, are still at-large.
Puro is listed among the most-wanted persons in Western Visayas, with corresponding rewards offered by the DILG, for their immediate arrest.
