December gals celebrate

The ANO! Kuno? group treated the December birthday celebrators to lunch at Kaisei Restaurant in Bacolod City Tuesday.

The honorees were Nonet Benedicto, Bing Montelibano, Ging Ramos and Ma. Ninfa Piccio, and almost everybody came in red that they believe will bring good health and prosperity.

After the prayer led by Ging Ramos, everybody sang happy birthday and then all enjoyed the delicious dishes ordered by Mila Moya, who celebrated her birthday last month.

During dessert time, the group planned its Christmas Party that will again be held at Kai Sei Resto. Members are enjoined to wear any Christmassy color or attire, and the best one will receive a special gift. The exchange gift must be worth not less than P300.

It was a very pleasant and cheerful gathering.

Must feted by their relatives and friends in Bacolod, Binalbagan and La Castellana were vacationing couple, Allan and Lourdes (nee Verde) Gomez, who are now residents of Riverside City in California. Among those who hosted the very hospitable couple, whose residence abroad is the half-way house of traveling friends, were Nebo and Gloria Aguilar, Noe and Cynthia Destajo, and Allan’s former officemates at Metrobank. The two have not given up their residence in Bacolod all these years, that could be a sign that they plan to be balikbayans someday.

By the way, Allan and Lourdes are acquiring multi-national grandchildren with their son Joey married to a Mexican, daughter Loureen to an Italian, and their youngest, Christian, now going steady with a Chinese girl!
