Sharp Aquos I dominates
Open Trio bowling tourney

Sharp Aquos I defeated ESD Candles, 343-312 to win in the men’s division crown and Condura ASSFBI I was declared champion in the women’s side after sister team Condura II opted not to challenge them for the tournament crown of the Supplier’s Christmas Cup Open Trio Bowling Tournament at the New Top’s Millennium Plaza Alley in Bacolod City.

Juliet Regollo of ASSFBI I and Nonoy Gatila of ESD Candles won the master bowler title in their respective categories.

The Aquos Team I headed by Irne Diaz and Condura I led by master bowler Juliet Regollo earned the twice-to-beat advantage in the finals by topping the elimination phase.

Sharp players were Nonoy Hulguin, Edgar De Leon, Reymund Lopez and Richard Secuelan, while Regollo, Sylvia Del Rosario, Lea Javier and Mildred Coleongco for the women’s champion.

Hulguin posted 121 points for the winning team, and Wilson Casas for the losing cause of ESD with 108.

Sharp II and Davies II placed second and third runners-up, and Electronz II was fourth in the overall tally.

In the women’s corner, Condura ASSFBI Ladies II defeated Tiger Eye I in the semis, 322-315 for first runner-up finished, while Panasonic and RJ Stars/NPBC were third and fourth placers, respectively.

Davies 5 of Romel Jover and Edgar Jerez rolled the team’s highest single record with 420 points, as ESD Electronz posted the highest triple at 1,091 in the men’s category.

Reigning in the distaff side was ASSFBI Condura Ladies who had the highest team single with 365 and double with 706.

In the individual contest, the tournament record holders were Nilo Maghari and Mary Ann Tonogbanua in the men and women’s pinning with 96 and 91; Wilson Casas and Cecil Biendo in single with 150 and 157, and Marlon Faisan and Sylvia Del Rosario in triple and double with 396 and 269 pts.

Consolation games winners were Canvil Knights, Joe’s Team and NPBC/RJ Stars in the men’s bracket, and Kami Mga Gwapa and Tiger Eye II in the ladies circle.*HLG
