Homecoming Pinoys

Advance happy and prosperous New Year to all readers of Excuse Me. May 2015 bring joy, happiness and good health, respect, and great love of our Lord Jesus Christ.

I was in Manila last week with Deting Piccio East to meet my sister, Lillie, and Virgie who spent their holiday vacation here. We spent another two days going to beautiful and interesting places like Tagaytay, Vigan and Batangas, and shopping malls, too, before going home to Bacolod.

At the airport, we met some acquaintances like Leizel Tolentino, from Riyadh, who was so excited to see her family and only son after six years. Seaman Captain Ven Millanes, ex-PTC, who worked in Panamax, and Jade, who toured the world. Amos Abangan of A/V Osaka was met by his family and will stay for three months before going back to work.

Lillie and Virgie, both retired, are now enjoying seeing places, and having a grand time playing with and watching their lovable apos. The only thing they complained about was the horrible traffic in Manila.
