December-born honored

The Young at Heart Group celebrated the birthdays of members born in December with lunch at Kaisei Saturday.

Celebrators Ramon “Nonet” Benedicto, Bimbi Montelibano, Ging Ramos and yours truly were treated to a sumptuous lunch that coincided with the post-Christmas party of the group.

Everyone was encouraged to come in red or green attire, and the gifts to be exchanged must not cost less than P200. Games were played, including “throw the dice”, a version introduced by Mariles Alvarez.

We enjoyed the games, sang Christmas carols and appreciated the gift of friendship and laughter of each member of the group.

It was a happy reunion for Ramiro del Castillo Jr., who just arrived from New York, to visit his son and family.
