Population seminar held

A seminar workshop on adolescence health and youth development was held at the District V ALS Learning Center in Rosario Street, Bacolod, recently by the Alternative Learning System Division of Bacolod, partnered with the City Population Office.

The two-day seminar workshop aimed to facilitate understanding of the concept of AHYD and the integration of its content and other concepts in the school curriculum.

Administrative officer Lila Arro welcomed the facilitators, and officer Ernie Asoy presented the overview and rationale of AHYD, and Mary Ann Alisbo, also of the Population Office, lectured on HIV/AIDS.

Around 21 ALS implementers and CPO personnel attended the seminar.*
