Siblings wanted for stabbing
BY SHIELA GELERA

Two siblings who allegedly ganged up on their neighbor and stabbed him in Purok Bayanihan, Brgy. Banago in Bacolod City, at about 6:20 p.m. Sunday are now being hunted by the police.

Senior Insp. Edgar Gulmatico, Station 3 chief, yesterday said their victim, Joseph Paces, 25, of the barangay, sustained two stab wounds on his back and right shoulder and was brought by his family to the Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital.

Investigation showed that Ramy, 26, and Ariel, 31, both surnamed Remegio, both also of Purok Bayanihan, ganged up on Paces when they passed each other.

After they were pacified by residents, Paces left for his house but later the younger Remegio, who tailed him, stabbed him with a bladed weapon, investigations also showed.

An old grudge is being eyed as the motive for the incident, Gulmatico said, adding that a manhunt operation against the Remegios is ongoing.*SGG
