PHO: Protect selves
against rain, cold
BY CARLA GOMEZ

Provincial Health Officer Ernell Tumimbang yesterday reminded the public to take self protection measures during the rainy season, and warned against drinking too much alcohol.

He said those who tend to drink too much alcohol during the cold weather should decrease their intake, especially if they are driving, because more accidents happen on slippery roads.

Tumimbang also reminded parents to ensure that their children wear protective gear against the rain and the cold during the rainy season.

They should also eat nutritious food that are rich in Vitamin C, and water for baths should be heated if it is very cold, he added.

He also cautioned the public to take precautions against diarrhea.*CPG
