Fifty new non-uniformed personnel will be hired and assigned at the Bacolod City Police Office, by the Police Regional Office-6.

Senior Supt. Edgardo Ordaniel, acting city police director, said qualified applicants may apply directly to the PRO-6, and the BCPO will give them recommendations.

Ordaniel said policemen assigned in office work will be pulled out and deployed in streets, where their presence is most needed.

The 50 NUP to be hired soon, who will also undergo training, will replace policemen formerly assigned in offices, he said.

Ordaniel said the 50 NUP will come from the 630 office workers who will be hired by the PRO-6 for the all city and town police offices in the Western Visayas.*SGG
