None of the 44 policemen assigned in Victorias City, Negros Occidental, tested positive for drug use, but two employees of the Victorias City Hall did.
Mayor Francis Frederick Palanca yesterday said the two employees, who tested positive for prohibited drugs, will undergo rehabilitation at the drug rehab center in Victorias City, before they are rehired.
Supt. Santiago Rapiz, Victorias police chief, also confirmed that the result of the drug testing among his police personnel turned out negative.
More than 500 Victorias City hall employees, and policemen underwent surprise drug testing Monday, after the traditional flag raising ceremony.
Palanca said he wants a drug-free City Hall.
