Registration ongoing
for BacoLaodiat race

Registration is ongoing for “The Ultimate BacoLaodiat Challenge: A Race to Welcome the Year of the Horse”, its organizer, Floyd Cabio, said yesterday.

The race, organized by the Bachelor of Science in Hotel Management 4B students of the University of St. La Salle, aims to raise funds for the scholars of the College of Business and Accountancy, he added.

Each team must have a maximum of three members, and may register at the Run Club at Robinsons City Walk, or at the University of St. La Salle.

The P500 registration fee will include a singlet, a certificate and a finisher’s medal, and for P390, a certificate and finisher’s medal, Cabio said.

The race’s assembly place will be at the Chopsticks Alley at the North Capitol Road, and will start 2 p.m. on February 1.

First, second and third place winners will receive P3,500, P2,500 and P2,000, respectively.

Feng shui talk in mall today

British-Filipina feng shui expert Maritess Allen will be at SM City Bacolod 4 p.m. today to talk about creating harmony and attracting all that is good in the Year of the Wood Horse, a press release from the mall said.

She has trained with feng shui masters from Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Hong Kong and China, and is the president and chief executive officer of World of Feng Shui Philippines, that manages six feng shui boutiques in Metro Manila, the press release also said.

Allen has also published several books on her expertise, and is sought after by politicians, celebrities, and top corporations as consultant, and as guest in television shows, the press release added.*
