Sharp I kept the lead in Class A as FRM Marketing and Condura II did on Class B and women’s category of the 2014 Suppliers Friendship Cup Open Trio Bowling Championship at the New Top’s Millennium Plaza Alley in Bacolod City.

After four rounds Sharp Team I of Irne Diaz remained on top with 3,809 points, followed by ESD Solid Strikers of Edgar Allain Del Rosario with 3,706.

FRM of Fil Magbojos led the team standings in Class B with 3,702, while Condura ASSFBI Ladies topped the women’s bracket with 2,540 points.

The cast in the men’s premiere division include ESD Electronz/ASSFBI with 3,704; Mulo Car Aircon Services, 3,680; Davies, 3672; Silverado/ASSFBI, 3,646; Davies IV, 3,619, Sharp II, 3,553, Kami Mga Hubin, 3,553 and NPBC RJ Stars, 3,537.

Still in contention for the top prize in the men’s class B category are Canvil Knights, 3,675; Manila Bulletin, 3,539; Candles/Alimon Steel, 3,508; Special Technics, 3,489, and Haier/Sanyo, 3,420.

Tiger Eye was second in the women’s group with 2,383, and Condura ASSFBI I at third with 2,379.

Fourth is RJ Stars with 2,343 followed by Pin Pals, 2,316; Kami Mga Gwapa, 2,288; The Snipers, 2,227; Panasonic, 2,198, and Racahe is down the cellar with 2,173.

Tournament coordinator Boy Wingpo said that after 10 rounds, the top four teams in each bracket will play in an up-the-ladder system to determine the champion.

Meanwhile, top 20 bowlers in the individual competition will be selected after the 9th round for the master bowler title under the new format,.

The aspirants will play three games each with the top four advancing to the knockout stage.*HLG
