Justice sought for
beaten up student

BY SHIELA GELERA

The family of a student from Bacolod City, who was allegedly beaten up and killed by four security guards of his school in Roxas City, last month, is asking for justice.

Erlinda Casipe, of Brgy. Villamonte in Bacolod, said in a television interview that they are asking for justice on the death of her son Tony Russel Casipe, 26.

Tony Russel was an electronics engineering student of the Filamer Christian University, in Roxas City.

An autopsy result on the body of Tony Russel showed that he died from cardiac arrest.

The mother said that it saddened her to know that her son was not immediately brought to the hospital.

Tony Russel was found dead in the campus of the FCU at Kilometer 1 in Roxas. He had wounds and bruises on his head, a DYOW Bombo Radyo report said.

The guards identified as Roger Borbon, Welbert Opiniano, Leobert Villaluz and Henry Barillo, who were the suspects in beating up Tony Russel, had already been charged, reports said.*SGG
