12 social workers,
19 nurses pass exams
Twelve social workers graduates from the University of Negros Occidental-Recoletos Social Work Department passed the licensure examinations last month, a press release from the school said.
They are Sr. Maria Helen Adobas, Ria Rufa Benitua, Marnellie Datiles, Ma. Gerla Espinosa, Lourie Fabillar, Rhozelle Joyce Liza, Roniza Lutao, Maria Pia Montalvo, Hanna Potestad, Cristena Seba, Sr. Rhea Lei Tolibas, and Charmaine Viloria, the press release also said.
The UNO-R passing percentage is 63.16 percent that is over the national passing percentage of 54.65 percent.
Meanwhile, 19 UNORians who passed the 2014 Nursing Board Examinations, are Iñaki Luis Gabriel Amazarray, Ma. Janine Melligen, Marichel Legario, Sitti Ruaina Aukusa, Lorie Lee Catubig, Clariz Espinas, Mel Anthony Pasaylo, Justine Llana Tiongco, Bea Queen Villanueva, Ma. Cecilia Ysulan, Mark Sepe, Mavi Lacuesta, Cherry Ann Gayatenia, Precious Sanchez, Crist Joy Puerto, Cecile Cañada, Mary Ann Dionela, Vanessaly Avalle, and Raymund Menchavez, the press release also said.*

company visits VMA
The First and Safety Systems Training Services officers visited the VMA Global College in Bacolod City recently to promote the advocacy on safety awareness, a press release from the school said.
The company president, Fermin Val del Rosario, safety consultant Jose Edmundo Togado and coordinating officer, Dr. Darwin Destacamento, met with Virgilio Florendo of VMA to help the school understand the requirements of the Department of Labor and Employment and the Philippine Contractor Accreditation Board regarding safety systems and training services, the press release added.*
