Retro Bowlers led by Iran Pielago posted 8,767 pinfalls to hold on to the No.1 spot in the 1st Lane Thunder Circle-sponsored Bowling Trio at the Negros Super Lanes of the Goldenfield Commercial Complex in Bacolod City.
With Pielago in the team are Reymund Lopez, Essho Garcia, Cero Cordova and Pato Fodlione.
Retro also had the team’s highest triple with 1,033 with Garcia booking the individual highest triple mark of 402.
Kami Mga Hubin headed by star player Edgar de Leon had 8,626 to place second in the overall tally.
Active Solid Strikers Fellowship Bowlers Inc. handled by Edgar Allain del Rosario followed with 8,609.
At No. 4 is Bago City Strikers had Ric Abellar with 8,514.
Rounding up the 15 teams are OMJB, 8,459; Silverado ASSFBI, 8,449; RJ Stars, 8,434; HTL, 8,343; Davies, 8,318; NDB Pin Pals, 8,239; CITIHI, 8,200; 69Ners, 8,101; MBCB, 7,841; Grupo Retirado, 7,793; and ESD Electronz at the bottom with 7,660.
Meanwhile, the tournament’s top 10 bowlers are Reymund Lopez of Retro with an average of 112.20 per game; Nonoy Gatila (ASSFBI),110.609; Oca Clemen (OMJB), 110.13; Ric Abellar (Bago), 109.89; Odong Paran (KMH), 109.38; Michael Corral (OMJB), 108.39; Cecil Silverio (ASSFBI), 108.25; Essho Garcia (Retro), 107.22; Ulysses “D Roadrunner”Pacheco (ASSFBI), 106.875, and Boy Romero (Davies), 105.69.
ASSFBI bet Nonoy Gatila posted the highest single of 151 points.
At stake for the top three teams are P8,000 for the champion, P5,000 for 1st runner-up, and P3,000 for 2nd runner-up. The two winners in the consolation contest of the non-winning entries is P2,000 for bracket A, and P1,000 for bracket B.
