Retro remains at No. 1 in
Bowling Trio tourney
Retro Bowlers led by Iran Pielago posted 8,767 pinfalls to hold on to the No.1 spot in the 1st Lane Thunder Circle-sponsored Bowling Trio at the Negros Super Lanes of the Goldenfield Commercial Complex in Bacolod City.
With Pielago in the team are Reymund Lopez, Essho Garcia, Cero Cordova and Pato Fodlione.
Retro also had the team’s highest triple with 1,033 with Garcia booking the individual highest triple mark of 402.

Brgy. 19 beats Brgy. 35 in Barangay 19 got away with a 75-72 victory against Brgy. 35 to push the latter to the brink of elimination in the latest match of the 8th Monico Cup Basketball Tournament at the Bacolod Arts and Youth Sports Center. Despite having former Negros Slasher pointguard and village chief Maui Huelar in the lineup, Brgy. 35 failed to advance their cause as the team went down against Singcang-Airport, 70-63, in their next assignment. Brgy. 19, on the other hand, failed to sustain its winning streak as it suffered a 98-86 loss to Brgy. 18 while Brgy. 10 turned back Handumanan, 79-73, in Saturday’s quarterfinals. |
