The body of a former call center agent was found near the shoreline in Purok Boulevard, Brgy. 14 in Bacolod City, at about 10 a.m. yesterday.
It was identified to be that of Henry Abada, 32, of Brgy. Granada, in Bacolod City, through an identification card recovered from the body, Police Officer 3 Warren dela Cerna, Station 1 duty investigator, said.
Initial investigation showed that Abada reportedly took the knife being used by a certain Perly to peel mangoes, climbed up and ran on the roofs of several houses in the purok, before jumping into the sea, and stabbing his neck with the knife, dela Cerna said, quoting witnesses.
Ruel Aldevera, a resident of the purok, told the DAILY STAR that it was the first time he had seen the man in the area.
Abada’s brother, whose name was not disclosed, told the police that the victim may have engaged in some vices.
The cadaver was brought to the Holy Angels Funeral Parlor, the police said.*SGG
