Learning through play
The Activity and Play Lounge, launched in Bacolod City recently, was inspired by the “Multiple Intelligence Theory and the Reggio Emilia Approach”.
Its owners believe that learning should not only be confined to children alone, or to the four walls of schools, as the process is especially at its peak when experienced with others.
Reggio educators describe this approach to learning and teaching as the “pedagogy of relationships”, and the Activity and Play Lounge aims to merge these philosophies to be able to contribute to molding relationships among parents, teachers and children.*
