Pa dies in mishap,
four children hurt

A father died and his four children were injured when their car fell from a bridge in Brgy. Alegria, Murcia town, Negros Occidental, at about 1:20 p.m. yesterday.

The police identified the fatality as Eutique Villarosa, 41, of Brgy. Zone 3 in Murcia.

Injured were four minors aged 15, 12, 9, and 1 who were brought to the Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital in Bacolod City., Police Officer 1 Thom Amable Mamego, Murcia town police desk officer, said.

Police investigation showed that the Mitsubishi Lancer car, driven by Villarosa, hit several trees before it fell from the bridge.

The 12-year old child of Villarosa said in a radio interview, that they had gone to a sugarcane farm in Brgy. Alegria. His father fertilized the farm then had drinks with his companions, before they left for home, the child added.*SGG
