5 police stations awarded

Five police stations in Bacolod City were awarded during the flag retreat at the City Police Office at Magsaysay Street in Bacolod yesterday.

Police Station 1 ranked number one in the over-all performance evaluation rating, followed by the Police Station 2. Stations 8 and 9 tied for the third spot, records show.

The 10 police stations were judged on their performance for the months of March to May, this year.

Police Station 8, led by Senior Insp. Ser Ulrick Christian Gelera, was best in administrative performance evaluation, Senior Supt. Larry Decena, BCPO officer-in-charge, said yesterday.

Best in operation performance evaluation was Police Station 2 with Senior Insp. Jovil Sedel as its chief, while best in police community relation evaluation was Police Station 3, headed by Senior Insp. Edgar Gulmatico, Decena said.

The awardees received plaques of recognition for Decena, Chief Supt. Alberto Supapo, deputy regional director for Administration, and Senior Supt. Marcelo Bolivar, OIC of the Regional Human Resource Doctrine and Development.*SGG
