Dumaguete Frisbee
team wins 3rd PUC

The Dumaguete Frisbee Team Extreme Ultimate won the 3rd Philippine Ultimate Championships Nationals 2014, held recently in E-parkTagum City, Davao.

DFTEU bested 18 other teams from Luzon, the Visayas and Mindanao.

DFTEU triumphed over Boracay Dragons in the finals, 15-10. The 15 games showed sportsmanship, friendship and love of the game, which made the Philippine Ultimate Community roar and cheer in excitement.

The Tournament Most Valuable Player award was received by Jose Antonio Pasigna, also of Dumaguete Extreme, and Finals MVP was David Libo-on III, who said the strategy was always to have a good spirit.

“We played it one game at a time. We never underestimated any team.Every team we played against, we gave our respect - win or lose,” he added.*RG
