Vallacar Transport Inc., operator of the Ceres buses, apologized to commuters yesterday for the limited number of their buses plying in the different areas in Negros Occidental.
Jade Marquez Seballos, its Legal and Media Relations manager, said some of their buses underwent self-preventive maintenance to ensure the safety of their passengers.
Seballos said they hope their normal operations can resume this week.
Earlier this week, the Land Transportation Franchising Regulatory Board implemented a 30-day suspension on seven of VTI’s buses, including the one that figured in a collision with a mini-bus in Hinigaran town on March 4 that left five persons dead and 32 injured.
LTFRB conducted a hearing to determine the cause of the accident was held at the LTFRB Regional office yesterday.*APN
