CARP forum slated

The Council of Past Presidents, in cooperation with the Negros Press Club and the Kapisanan ng mga Brodkaster ng Pilipinas–Negros Occidental chapter, organized a forum on the Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Program, to be held at the Provincial Capitol Social Hall in Bacolod City, at 9 a.m. tomorrow, a press release from organizers said.

CPP president Modesto Sa-onoy has invited Dr. Raul Fabella, a National Scientist, who serves as professor on economics at the University of the Philippines to present his study on CARP.

Non-government organizations, NPC officers and members and KBP officers and members are expected to attend the forum which is expected to feature more factual inputs about the implementation of CARP program in the country, the press release said.*
