‘Mary and Child Jesus’
exhibit opens in Bacolod

Bacolod artist Dolly Ramos-Gatuslao opened her fourth solo art exhibit Saturday at the Museo Diocesan de Bacolod at the San Sebastian Cathedral Rectory in Bacolod City, titled “Mary and Child Jesus”, which will run until May 30.

At the opening of the show, cathedral rector Fr. Felix Pasquin blessed Gatuslao’s paintings, done in oil and pastel, that showcase religious icons and gives emphasis to the Virgin Mary.

Gatuslao’s art for a cause coincides with the celebration of Mother’s Day. She is a past president of the Art Association of Bacolod.

A portion of the proceeds of the show will benefit the projects of the Diocese of Bacolod and the Museo Diocesano de Bacolod.*CGS
