Barangay 4 bagged the championship in the 5th Silay City Liga Ng Mga Barangay Bowling Tournament held recently at the Top’s Bowling Lanes in Bacolod City, a press release from the Silay City Hall said.

Settling for first runner-up honors was Barangay 2, while Liga Ng Mga Barangay Staff was second runner-up, and Barangay E. Lopez, third runner-up.

Present at the awarding ceremony was former Silay City mayor Edwin Velez and Local Government Operation officer Rex Abello.

The tournament was organized to establish good relationship among the barangays in the city, the press release said.*
