STI -WNU ready to defend
SeaOil NBTC – Bacolod title

Rivalry in local junior basketball is expected to heat up next month when the SeaOil-National Basketball Training Center – Bacolod leg opens December 6 at the West Negros University Gym.

West Negros University Junior Mustangs will be defending its title against St. John's Institute in the noon game during the opening day.

Scheduled to clash in the curtain-raiser at 9 a.m. are Mansilingan Christian Academy against Bacolod Christian Center, while powerhouse Living Heritage Christian Academy and University of St. La Salle - Integrated School will square it off at 10:30 a.m..

On December 7, guest team Hwa Ming tests University of Negros Occidental Recoletos at 8 a.m., followed by the match-up between Trinity Christian School and MCA.

At 11 a.m., the Nimer Nierves-mentored LHCA will face the young Mustangs of coach Dennis Tumayan.

The SeaOil-NBTC tournament was organized for basketeers currently enrolled in their respective school and are born not earlier than January 1, l997.

Supervising the tournament are City Commissioner Bobby Tee and assistants Jake Azucena and Nene Sibaya.*NAB
