Pacquiao calls out Mayweather anew

Sarangani Rep. Manny Pacquiao yesterday challenged Floyd Mayweather to a fight in a boxing ring instead of uploading videos online.

Mayweather posted in his Instagram account a video showing Pacquiao being knocked down during his fight against opponent Juan Manuel Marquez with a background song “Another One Bites the Dust”.

”Madali lang pala ako patulugin… lumaban na siya (He’s saying that I am easy to be defeated… let’s just fight),” was Pacquiao’s  response to the video uploaded by Mayweather during a press conference held at the Hotel Intercontinental in Makati City.

Pacquiao  paid a courtesy call yesterday morning on Makati Mayor Jejomar Erwin Binay and Vice President Jejomar Binay at the Makati City Hall.

Mayor Binay handed a symbolic key to Pacquiao  for bringing pride and honor to the nation anew after successfully defending his welterweight title against Chris Algieri  in Macau.

“Makati is proud of Manny Pacquiao for consistently bringing glory to the Philippines. He has inspired millions of people around the world, including the people of Makati, with his indomitable spirit and extraordinary boxing skills,” Binay said.

After the courtesy call, Pacquiao together with Mayor Binay and some officials of city government, joined the victory parade going towards Ayala Avenue up to the InterCon Hotel.

Pacquiao, in a press conference, said he is still weighing his options for the 2016 elections and focusing his attention on his town in Sarangani.

”I have no decision yet...My decision for a national position is incomplete, but I'm considering my responsibilities as a congressman, as a boxer and as a family man,” Pacquiao said.*PNA
