LCC, USLS boys unbeaten
 in NOPSSCEA volleyball

Young spikers from La Consolacion College – Bacolod, and University of St. La Salle – Integrated School, posted their fourth straight win Sunday in separated matches to stay unbeaten in the NOPSSCEA Season 34 high school boys’ volleyball and the USLS Covered Court.

The Jimmy Dequilla-mentored USLS –IS team had an easy win against Don Bosco Technical Institute, 25=7, 25-10, while LCC-Bacolod, coached by Manolo Galang, routed Brookside GA, 25-8, 25-12.

The top three teams in the three brackets of the high school boys’ division will advance to the modified page system finals, tournament manager Efren Timtiman said.

He added that Sta. Teresita Academy and MCC also qualify in Group C with the Silay City-based STA taking the No. 2 spot and MCC at No. 3.

In high school girls’ division, Megumi defeated Tangub Christian Academy, 25-13, 25-20, while USLS-IS beat St. Benilde School, 25-19, 25-18.

St. Scholastica’s Academy high school girls’ team also prevailed over Trinity Christian School, 24-26, 25-19 and 25-12.*NAB
