The Tourism Infrastructure and Enterprise Zone Authority Chief Operating Officer will open the 1st Bacolod Trade Expo and Conferences at the new SMX Bacolod Convention Center 9:30 a.m. today.

Mark Lapid aims to accomplish the vision of TIEZA by making Philippines become one of the world’s top tourist destination by strengthening public-private partnership, and  forging closer relationship with local Government Units the  press release from Bacolod Councilor Jocelle Batapa-Sigue said.

The event was initiated by private sector organizations in partnership with the Sangguniang Panlungsod Committees on Tourism, Local and International Cooperation, and Trade, Commerce and Industry chaired by Batapa-Sigue, with the support of the Office of Mayor Monico Puentevella, the press release added.*
