164 graduate from organic training

The 164 members of Sitio Mascuvado, Brgy, Poblacion 1, Toboso graduated from the Kabalikat sa Kabuhayan-Organic Farming Program of the Office of the Provincial Agriculturist at the Provincial Capitol Building In Bacolod City yesterday.

Col. Jon Aying said the participants should have undergone a seminar on awareness of the programs and projects of the joint agencies when they go into large production. He said the group should also learn how to organize themselves into a cooperative to survive and have sustainable livelihoods.

The forum speakers were Dina Genzola of the office of the Provincial Agriculturist, Christine Mansinares of the Provincial Tourism Office and Sandra Siaton of the Provincial Cooperative Development Office.*MNM
