MassKara costume exhibit on
The costumes for the street and arena dancing category of the 35th MassKara Festival are being displayed at the Central Citywalk at Robinsons Place Bacolod, a press release from the Kasadya Bacolod Foundation Inc. said.
The masks and costumes that the 11 schools and 20 barangays will wear during the competitions today and tomorrow are open to the public for them to have a glimpse on what the costumes would look like.
The village of the 31 colorful costumes was opened by first lady Josefa Puentevella, Kasadya Bacolod Foundation Inc. festival director Rhoderick Samonte, photo exhibit coordinator Ronnie Baldonado, and Robinsons marketing manager Christine Tomas recently.
Meanwhile, the “MassKara sa Barangay” talent competition, feeding program and make-up session for women, has already been held in 10 of the 61 barangays of Bacolod, including barangays Handumanan, Mansilingan, Punta Taytay, Cabug, Tangub, 7, 18, 29, 31 and 40, the press release added.*
