Bacolod Rep. Evelio Leonardia was sponsor of baby Israel, the youngest son of international boxing icon and congressman Manny and Jinkee Pacquiao at his dedication in General Santos City Sunday.

Leonardia joined a group of political, entertainment and media celebrities who stood as godparents of Pacquiao’s son. The group included television personalities Anthony Taberna and Karen Davila, presidential sister and media star Kris Aquino, Dr. Vicky Belo, Mayor Rodrigo Duterte, Governors Chavit Singson, Steve Alvarez and George Solon and Congressman Toby Tiangco.

Leonardia said he was honored to stand as godfather to Israel. “I was surprised when Manny asked me to be ninong to Israel, because I am already godfather  to his first daughter, Mary Divine Grace, also called Princess, he said.

The dedication of baby Israel was held in the Pacquiao mansion in  General Santos.*
