The Negros Oriental Electric Cooperative 2 will charge member-customer-owners P50 more in notarial fee for new electric service connections starting this month, its general manager, Dionefred Macahig, said in a press release.
He said this is p ursuant to Board Resolution No. 270, dated November 18, 2014 and that the contract/application for new electric service connection should be notarized.
Earlier he had said that MCOs were the ones responsible for having the contract notarized by a lawyer.
In order that the cooperative can provide better service to the MCOs, the notarial fee will now be included in the charges of the coop, Macahig said.
Meanwhile, Noreco 2 conducted repairs and maintenance in the Bondo, Siaton area Tuesday, and affected was the Siaton sub-office Feeder 2, whose two units of backbone pole C1 type construction accidentally burned in Bondo, Siaton.*RG
