Male college freshmen willing to avail of athletic scholarship can join the basketball tryout of the Visayan Maritime Academy Global College in Brgy. Sum-ag southof Bacolod City.

Tryout starts at 8 a.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays until end of the month, coaches John Tumamot, Rex Bayer and Gudoy Cipriano said.

Interested students may look for the coaching staff or report directly to the VMA gym during the tryout.

The VMA Global College Sharks returned to compete in the NOPSSCEA seniors basketball a couple of years ago.

The team finishED fifth last year and is keen on improving its performance in the NOPSSCEA season this year.*NAB
