Venus heads CEMPCO

Roel Venus was elected chairperson of the Board of Directors of the Central Negros Electric Cooperative Employees Multi-Purpose Cooperative Inc. at their general assembly held at the SMX Convention Center Saturday.

Venus, chief of Consumer Services Division of Central Negros Electric Cooperative and former area manager of Ceneco-Bago City, was recognized by VICTO National Cooperative Federation and Development as the youngest chairperson of the board of a cooperative in 2007.

CEMPCO, a member of VICTO National Cooperative Federation and Development , is a closed type cooperative with 482 members and P133,462,961 in total assets.

Elected as vice chairperson was Lolita Jayme, and board members were Emelita Gacho, Dymar Gatuslao, Cherish Mae Millevo, Stefannie Montaner and Mildred Valladolid. Kirzza Dia Jocame and Mary Christine Primrose Sinoro were appointed secretary and treasurer, respectively.

Also elected were Madelyn Padohinog, Ronald Reosura and Dolores Castel as Credit Committee members, Marietta Dela Cruz, Gabriel Jegira and Prezel Moncatar as Audit Committee members, and Pedro Alegrabes and Lilibeth Gadian as Conciliation Committee members.*APN
